Description
This Venus in Taurus Bath Bomb is luxurious and gently detoxifying. Bentonite clay draws out toxins, while the sacred Hierophant blend purifies the spirit. Uplifting and rejuvenating, this BB will get you in touch with your senses as well as Divinity that goes beyond the physical.
The electional chart features Venus in her home sign of Taurus. The Moon revels in Taurus with her in the 10th House, forming an aspect to benevolent Jupiter. The Sun as the ruler of the chart was in a strong position, exalted in Aries on the Midheaven. The election began with a prayer to Venus in the hour of Venus.
On Key V. The Hierophant
From Paul Foster Case, Oracle of the Tarot (1933) on Key 5, the Hierophant / Pope:
The name of the first Pope was Simon, or Simeon, which in Hebrew means ‘hearing.’ Hearing is also attributed to the letter Vau in Qabalah, and Taurus, according to astrology, rules the neck, throat and ears, so that this sign is directly connected with those parts of the human body which establish communication by means of speech. ‘LE PAPE’ means literally ‘The Father,’ and in the technical language of the Qabalah the name ‘Father’ is particularly associated with the idea of Wisdom. Thus the divinatory meanings of this Key correspond to these fundamental notions: Divine Wisdom; intuition; explanation, teaching. It is also a symbol of occult force voluntarily invoked. Of this the symbol of the pentagram is a reminder.
From the Pictorial Key to the Tarot by Waite (1910), the Hierophant is:
the summa totius theologiæ, when it has passed into the utmost rigidity of expression; but he symbolizes also all things that are righteous and sacred on the manifest side. As such, he is the channel of grace belonging to the world of institution as distinct from that of Nature, and he is the leader of salvation for the human race at large. He is the order and the head of the recognized hierarchy, which is the reflection of another and greater hierarchic order.
